A generously sized vintage Robinson Ransbottom stoneware pitcher in a warm tan glaze, decorated with a cobalt blue wheat sprig and a richly sponged blue border around the rim. Its rounded body, curved handle, and pouring spout give it the familiar shape of an old country kitchen pitcher.
Display it on open shelving, a kitchen table, or a mantel, where its blue and tan coloring can mix easily with ironstone and other collected pottery. Because of the hairline described below, this pitcher is offered as a decorative piece rather than for holding liquids.
