A substantial Rowe Pottery Works stoneware vase featuring a blue bird perched among brown and blue foliage against a warm, speckled tan ground. The tall cylindrical form is finished with a broad rounded rim, two applied twisted handles with blue accents, and a dark brown glazed interior.
Handmade in Cambridge, Wisconsin and dated 2007, this piece brings the character of traditional American pottery to a kitchen counter, dining room, or collected shelf. Use it to hold wooden utensils, display dried stems, or enjoy the bird decoration on its own. Its earthy color and blue detailing pair beautifully with natural wood, simple linens, and other stoneware.
