Beautiful vintage Spode Archive Collection dinner plate featuring the Georgian Series “Botanical” pattern in a warm cranberry red.
The design features an abundant arrangement of stylized flowers and foliage surrounded by an intricate floral border and gently scalloped rim. Based on a Spode design first introduced circa 1820, the pattern captures the wonderful detail of early English transferware while remaining wonderfully usable for today’s table.
The soft ivory ground and cranberry red decoration make this an especially pretty plate for mixing with ironstone, creamware, floral china, and other collected red transferware. Perfect for the dinner table, layered place settings, or displayed among a collection of English pottery.
