A beautiful set of four vintage Staffordshire English Ironstone plates, featuring a richly detailed blue and white Willow landscape inspired by traditional English chinoiserie designs.
Made in England by English Ironstone Tableware Ltd., each plate bears the Staffordshire backstamp noting underglaze printing, genuine hand engraving, and acid and detergent proof. The intricate cobalt blue design features pagodas, willow trees, birds, bridge and waterside scenery framed by an elaborate geometric and floral border.
Measuring approximately 9½ inches across, these plates are a wonderful size for everyday dining. The set of four can be used together or mixed with white ironstone and other vintage blue and white transferware for a collected table.
