Royal China’s beloved Memory Lane pattern feels particularly at home on this generous oval serving platter. Introduced in 1965, the design features a detailed pastoral farm scene in rich red transferware, surrounded by the pattern’s distinctive border of oak leaves and acorns.
At approximately 12 inches across, it is a wonderfully usable size for the table—large enough for roast chicken, vegetables, sandwiches, pastries, or a Thanksgiving side without being an oversized platter that is difficult to store. The warm cream ground and deep red pattern also make it an easy piece to mix with white ironstone and other collected dinnerware.
