A charming set of four vintage Mount Clemens Currier & Ives salad plates featuring a detailed blue scenic design on warm ivory china. The pastoral scene depicts a horse-drawn wagon arriving at a country farm, surrounded by wonderfully detailed figures, animals and farm buildings.
The deep blue decoration continues around the rim with an intricate linear border and stylized corn motifs, giving these plates the look of an old engraved illustration. Beautiful for mixing into a blue and white table, displaying in a plate rack, or simply putting to use.
