A charming vintage Japanese sugar bowl and creamer decorated in classic cobalt blue and white with an intricate phoenix and scrolling floral design.
The covered sugar bowl has a wonderfully rounded shape with double handles and a domed lid topped by a simple ball finial. Its matching creamer echoes the same pattern with a graceful pouring spout and squared handle. Together, they have that timeless blue-and-white look that mixes beautifully with both antique and everyday tableware.
The decoration features stylized phoenix birds surrounded by trailing vines and florals, with additional patterned borders around the shoulders. The sugar bowl bears a blue maker’s mark with Made in Japan, while the creamer is also marked Made in Japan.
