A handsome vintage solid copper bowl by Daewoo, made in Korea, with a beautifully simple rounded form and brass ring handles at either side.
The warm copper has developed a naturally aged patina with wonderful variation across the surface, while the interior retains much of its original shine. The small brass handles add just the right amount of detail to an otherwise wonderfully simple piece.
At 8 inches across, it is a useful size for fruit, nuts, or collected objects, and equally lovely left empty on a kitchen counter, open shelf, or table. The rounded bottom gives the bowl an especially sculptural profile.
