A wonderfully charming vintage copper flour canister, complete with its original brass “FLOUR” label and the sweetest little bird perched atop the lid.
The cylindrical copper canister has a simple, substantial shape with a gently domed lid, while the warm brass label and sculptural bird knob add just enough detail. Years of use have given the copper a beautifully varied surface, with mellow patina, spotting, scratches, and changes in color that make it feel right at home in a collected kitchen.
At approximately 8 inches tall and 6 inches across, it is a useful size for countertop storage while still being compact enough to tuck onto an open shelf or into a pantry. A particularly handsome piece mixed with old cutting boards, ironstone, crocks, and other well-used kitchen pieces.
