A striking pair of vintage brass chamberstick candle holders with unusual rocking gimbal mechanisms.
Each turned candleholder is suspended within a curving brass frame, allowing it to gently rock back and forth when touched. Shallow drip pans, simple carrying handles, and decorative key-shaped side fittings give the pair an intriguing old-world character.
Their sculptural construction and warm, mellow brass finish make them beautiful gathered on a dining table, mantel, or bedside—even when not holding candles.
Each measures approximately 6 inches tall by 3.5 inches wide.
In good vintage condition with natural patina, tarnish, spotting, and surface wear consistent with age and use. The two holders have slight variations in finish and positioning within their frames. Please review all photographs for condition details.
