A charming vintage Blue Willow salt box featuring rich cobalt-blue decoration on creamy white ceramic, finished with a warm wooden lift-top lid. Traditional willow trees, pagodas, birds, and patterned borders surround the boldly lettered “SALT” front.
Its flat back and hanging hole allow for wall display, while the freestanding shape makes it equally lovely on a kitchen shelf or countertop. A beautiful accent for a collected kitchen or a blue-and-white pottery collection.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related discoloration, most noticeable inside and around the base. The wooden lid shows surface wear and a small split with wood loss near one hinge. There is a small chip at the rear hanging hole. Please review all photographs as they are part of the description.
An appealing piece with the character and patina of a well-loved vintage kitchen accessory.
