A sweet antique Limoges porcelain pitcher decorated with pink clover blossoms, green leaves, and a yellow butterfly. Gold accents highlight the curved handle, rim, and graceful spout.
Made by Tressemanes & Vogt of Limoges, France, the pitcher likely dates to circa 1900. A handwritten dedication on the underside reads, “To Aunt Helen / Xmas 1945 / From Janet”—a personal touch preserving a moment in its history. The inscription records the gift date; the porcelain itself is older.
A charming piece for a cottage cupboard, a collection of French porcelain, or a shelf where its flowers and butterfly can be enjoyed.
Measures approximately 4” x 4.5”. Marked T&V Limoges France on the underside.
Condition: Hairline cracks are visible across the base and extend onto the lower body, with additional fine lines near the spout. Some lines show discoloration, and the gold trim has wear. Offered as a decorative display piece. Please review all photographs for details.
