A beautiful antique porcelain platter made by Benedikt Brothers in Carlsbad, Austria. The large oval form is decorated in the traditional Blue Onion pattern, with cobalt blue flowers, stylized fruit, scrolling foliage, and delicate ornamental borders against crisp white porcelain.
Measuring an impressive approximate 18 inches long, this substantial platter has wonderful presence on the table or displayed in a hutch. Two chips along the rim reflect its long history, but the platter remains useful for serving and/or displaying.
