Its generous scale and open center make it a beautiful presentation piece for a holiday table, sideboard or dining-room display. It would also be lovely used for pastries, wrapped or dry foods, or as the foundation of a seasonal centerpiece. The Iris design was produced as a complete Royal Staffordshire dinner service and is recognized for its monochrome decoration and gilt accents.

Condition:
Good antique condition with age-related wear. There is overall crazing, surface and utensil scratching, scattered discoloration and wear to the gilding, particularly around the outer rim. The underside shows marks, scuffs and wear consistent with age and use. No chips or cracks were noted. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
Because of its age, crazing and gilt decoration, hand washing is recommended. Avoid prolonged soaking and do not place in the dishwasher or microwave.
